After 500 years, in 2012 the remains of King Richard III were discovered beneath a car park in Leicester.

The Lost King is the life-affirming true story of a woman who refused to be ignored and who took on the country’s most eminent historians, forcing them to think again about one of the most controversial kings in England’s history.

*Philippa Jayne Langley MBE (born 29th June 1962) is a British writer, producer, and Ricardian, who is best known for her role in the discovery and exhumation of Richard III in 2012 (the Looking for Richard project), for which she was awarded an MBE.
