Broadwindsor School Sponsored Walk – Monday, 2nd May

Raising funds for new and improved outdoor adventure play equipment, the pupils of Broadwindsor School are walking to the highest point in Dorset – Lewesdon Hill by way of a Sponsored Walk on Bank Holiday Monday, 2nd May.
The children will be meeting on the MUGA at 10am on Monday, 2nd May, there will be squash and cake for all to share at the top.

Organised by the school’s PTA, Chairman Martin Burt commented “We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and we hope that even the littlest legs can reach the top! For the past two years our sponsored walks were during lockdowns, so it will be lovely to enjoy a walk together this year!
The play equipment is chosen with the help of the children through the school council.

If anyone would like to sponsor the children they can do so here:

For those that can’t join the group walk, we ask pupils to enjoy a walk with friends or family. As always, if you have any queries please do get in touch at pta@broadwindsor.dorset.sch.uk.

Many thanks,

Martin Burt
