Dorset closed this weekend

DORSET IS CLOSED

Please do not visit us this Bank Holiday weekend – You will be welcomed back when restrictions around travel & social distancing have been lifted.

Alongside Dorset Police’s Operational colleagues – #Poole & #Purbeck #Police Officers will be targeting the #Dorset #JurassicCoast.  There are limited roads in & out of these locations. If you are from out of County you will be dealt with formally. It is crucial we protect our local communities.

We will also be Policing transport networks over the BankHoliday across Early, Late & Night shifts. You will be challenged and dealt with accordingly.

Essential travel does NOT include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. We have been in Lockdown for a number of weeks, people must remain in their PRIMARY residence.

We’ve been given additional powers to fine those refusing to follow Government instructions so please #StayHome #ProtectTheNHS #SaveLives

If you are a local resident stopping for short periods on your exercise is permitted, but this does not include a Picnic on the Beach – You will be challenged. We ThankYou in advance for supporting us over the coming weekend.
