Drimpton Film Club – Wednesday, 9th February

At Drimpton Village Hall on Wednesday, 9th February they are showing: “THE LAST BUS” (12) 82 minutes.

Directed by GilliesMacKinnon and starring Timothy Spall and Phyllis Logan.

Tom, an elderly widower, takes a nostalgic journey from John O’Groats to Land’s End using just his bus pass and local buses.

This is a mission to fulfil a promise made to his late wife. There are incidences…good and bad…and Tom finds himself a focus of interest as local people that he comes across are drawn into his progress and he becomes a bit of a celebrity.

  • Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
  • Drimpton Film Club Members – Free entry.
  • Guests – £4
  • Refreshments available: Wine, Beer, Tea & Coffee.
