Live Music at Half Moon, Melplash Starting This Sunday

This Sunday, September 6th sees the first of ten Sunday Sessions happening at the Half Moon pub in Melplash. The sessions are organised in Association with JSW Entertainment Group who arranged the beautiful blue lights at Broadwindsor’s church on May 14th.
Over the coming weeks they will be promoting a range of Folk, Blues, Americana and Jazz music. Food will also be available.

The Leggomen are kicking off the event performing an acoustic set of originals & classic favourites – so no Josh on drums on this occasion!
Doors open: 5:00pm, Start time: 6:00pm. Online booking only – HERE.

Sunday Sessions is a series of seated performances being hosted by the Half Moon pub in Melplash. At the venue there is a marquee installed  which has been transformed into their own cabaret, socially distanced music venue in the midst of the West Dorset Countryside.

So how do they run Sunday Sessions during a worldwide pandemic?  How do they deal with social distancing and covid compliance?
The show is a pre-allocated table booking for your social bubble. These tables are available in bubbles of 6, 4, 3 and 2 seaters for booking within the venue which offers sheltered seating capacity for 60.
Bookings for all events will be only available via their online booking system which operates through e-bookings and contact fee.

Prices range from £32.70 for a 2-person bubble (£30.00+£2.70 Booking fee) to £53.50 for a 6-person bubble (£50.00+£3.50 Booking fee).
