So Who Has Had A New Cooker Installed?

Thankfully, a rare occurrence in our village, but someone has illegally dumped an old cooker at Hursey Common.

Photographed by a shocked village resident walking her dog earlier today, the cooker has just appeared – dumped. In what is recognised as an Area Of Natural Beauty, this is a sad and disgraceful occurrence.

Dorset Council should be notified of any fly-tipping and will only clear waste from the public highway or public land.  You can start an online report HERE.
If anyone has seen anything suspicious or knows anything related to this incident – please contact our local Community Officer Alex Bishop by email: alex.bishop@dorset.ppn.police.uk or on his mobile: 07912 898983.
You can also report anonymously to CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111 or by completing their online form HERE.
