Y6 Village Bus service from Monday, 11th May

Y6 Bus timetable - May 2020Y6 Bus timetable - May 2020A revised bus service will be introduced between Bridport and Yeovil, with effect from this coming Monday 11 May, operating Mondays to Fridays (Bank/ Public Holidays excepted) by Buses of Somerset as no. Y6.
Bob Driscoll Chairman of
WATAG – (Western Area Transport Action Group) commented: “This is a ‘one bus’ operation and, I assume, will continue until such time as travel restrictions are eased. We still await a response from Councillor Ray Bryan regarding the long term solution for this corridor. Whilst demand for this service will be minimal, the new timetable is a vast improvement to the existing one, and allows a shopping trip to either Bridport or Yeovil, as well as giving residents of Broadwindsor and Mosterton the opportunity of an “out and back in the same day” journey that has been denied to them since the beginning of April.”
