The shop is sparkling and has all safety measures in place to welcome our lovely customers back. There will be hand sanitiser at the entrance, a one way system, 2m distancing tape on floor and limit on numbers. Opening hours till further notice will be Weds – Sat 11 -3pm. Stocked with Carp (common, mirror and crucian), Tench, Bream and Roach – they are welcoming fisherman from 7.30am, the last leaving the premises by 10pm.
No Dogs, No Keep Nets and Barbless Hooks Only. Landing Mats Must Be Used.

2 lost dogs!

Broadwindsor Community Stores2 dogs were found running loose in the village’s High Street this morning: one black Dachshund and one black & white Jack Russell.
They are currently been held at the Community Stores allowing someone to reclaim them before the RSPCA being called.

The South West Now Have the Highest ‘R’ Number Spread In The UK

The South West of England has the highest rate of coronavirus spread in the UK, with an “R number” estimated to be in the range of 0.8 to 1.1. Most other regions in England have R numbers whose range goes up to 1, according to government figures released today that provide regional R values for the first time.

Sheku Kanneh-Mason – Tribute to George Floyd

In 2018, Sheku Kanneh-Mason and his sister performed in St. Mary’s church in Beaminster, with their mother in the audience.
On June 5th 2020, he and his family released a LIVE tribute to George Floyd and their families and communities affected daily by racism and racist violence.  There is a short introduction then a beautiful rendition of ‘Hallelujah
