We have a two year old staying in the village, both his parents are hospital doctors and he has a new sibling too! Like many, he is missing his routine life of nursery school and his Daddy not being around, fighting the fight.
Does anyone in the village have a sit and ride car they could borrow for the lockdown period? They are just looking for something different for him to play with and occupy his days. Many thanks.

BW Parish Council – Going Forward.
As part of the Coronavirus Act 2020, the Government has provided a framework to support local authorities to carry out their work within the current restrictions and still be legally compliant. Guided by this framework, Broadwindsor Group Parish Council has agreed on a number of measures which will allow it to continue to function efficiently and carry out its legal duties during these challenging times.
It has been agreed that both the Annual Parish Meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for May will be cancelled. Councillor Hibbard, with the full support of the Council will continue as Chairman until the time at which the AGM is convened. When it is essential for a meeting to be held, it will take place using an online platform which will be accessible to parishioners, further information on this will be provided. Please do continue to raise matters of concern or items for consideration with the Council.
The Parish Council remains committed to supporting our community, especially those most vulnerable at this very difficult time. Our Parish Councillors are available to provide practical help such as the delivery of food supplies and medication to those self-isolating and information and signposting to existing support networks. Please do contact them if you need support, information or just need a friendly chat on the telephone.

Lyrid shooting stars start tonight . . .
One of the joys of living in a rural community is being able to observe meteor showers much clearer than those who live in the city. Tonight sees the start of the Lyrid meteor shower, visible through to the 25th and peaking on 22nd when up to 100 an hour can be viewed.
They should be easy to see as the sky is dark with the New Moon being on the 23rd. Just go out into your garden and look North East.
