A lovely turnout with many hats worn for the final day of the Music Through The Square Window and an appropriate final song, in keeping with the Sound of Music 🙂

Bridport Police issued a warning after a report of some cold callers in Broadwindsor, Saturday afternoon, offering gardening services: two males in a van with ladders on the roof, calling at elderly residents’ properties.
If you are in the area, please be vigilant, especially around possible vulnerable neighbours and if you feel there is anything suspicious to report, please contact us on 101.
They advise anyone to refuse any work or entry to property to anyone calling, if you are not willing to accept any services. If any callers refuse to leave or become aggressive, please call the Police immediately. Please also use any door chains available to prevent callers from being able to get a look into your property, or from being able to push their way in.

Cat Lost and Found Department. . . via Drimpton.
The cat was found in Netherhay, however extensive enquiries reveal that it doesn’t belong to anyone there.
Does anyone recognise it, have you lost it?
Edit: **To people who are holding the cat: If you take cat to a vet – most are chipped and you may track the owner that way**
As Vikki and Spike from the White Lion will tell you – any Young Farmers fundraising always involves an obviously good party and a healthy amount of alcohol, but in these difficult times the Dorset YFC members have decided to hold a Quiz fundraiser for Matt’s chosen charity “Orchid” who research and raise awareness of all male cancers.
In late December 2019 Matt Frampton was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and had surgery on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately in March 2020 a CT scan confirmed that it had spread and have 3 secondary tumours rapidly growing on his lung and he started 9 weeks of chemotherapy, under the care of the oncology team at Southampton.
The YFC are raising funds to show support for their Dorset Federation of Young Farmers County Chairman, Matt Frampton.
