Broadwindsor.org’s Top Ten Visitors

Broadwindsor.org focuses on what happens and is happening in, within and around our rural village in West Dorset.  As you’d expect, most visitors to the website are residents of the U.K. but you may be surprised at the other nine countries that visit the site frequently…

Another Fun Fact: The Editor attended the Nominee’s reception in London on 23rd for the Digital Leaders 100 Awards 2021 🙂  Wasn’t shortlisted on this occasion but met some lovely, enterprising people. Thank you for the local support. Read the original post HERE.

Broadwindsor.org’s Editor Nominated For Award

Web Mistress & Editor of Broadwindsor.org’s website, Wendy Shields has received notice that she has been nominated in both the Digital Public Service Innovation of the Year & Digital Leader of the Year categories in the Digital Leaders 100 Awards 2021.

“This was most unexpected and I’m not even informed of who places the nominations!  It all sounds a bit corporate and grand for our wee village but I am really very pleased and am proud of the work I’ve done on the website so far.  The aim has always been to be a source providing as much up to date and accurate information as possible, promoting local businesses and capturing those memories of local history which may otherwise be lost.”

Please show your support and nominate by visiting: https://digileaders100.com/nominate

The Categories are:

  • Digital Public Service Innovation of the Year
  • Digital Leader of the Year

Nominations close on 10th September at 12 noon.

Fingers CrossedThank you!
