The Comrades Hall 100 Club Is Back!

The Comrades Hall 100 Club Is Back!

Many of you will recall taking part in the Comrades Hall 100 Club over recent years, the last one being in September 2022.  The Comrades Hall 100 Club is a means of raising funds for the Hall and to give members a chance to win some money.  Half of the membership fees go to the Hall and the remainder will go into the draws which take place four times a  year.  More specifically, the Hall committee are looking into replacing both the range cooker in the kitchen and the windows and stage curtains, so you can be assured that your donations are going towards a very good cause.

As the name suggests, they are looking for 100 members to purchase tickets at an annual cost of £15 each.  Every member will be allocated a number from 1 to 100.  The draws will take place on the first Tuesday in September, December, March and June undertaken by the Post Master at the Post Office Coffee Club.

Sara Dyke and Margaret Wing will shortly be approaching those who have been members of the 100 Club previously to see if they would like to continue.  Anyone is welcome to join, either as an individual or an organisation, so if you would like to be involved, please contact Sara or Margaret to be added to the list.

They would like to start off with their first draw in September and the prizes are definitely worth having.  There are 6 cash prizes allocated to each draw:

The September, March and June draws will have prizes of:

  •  1st        £75
  •  2nd       £50
  •  3rd        £25
  •  4th        £15
  •  5th        £10
  •  6th        £5

The December draw will be a Christmas special with slightly higher prize money:

  •  1st        £100
  •  2nd       £50
  •  3rd        £25
  •  4th        £15
  •  5th        £10
  •  6th        £5

The 100 numbers are sure to be snapped up very quickly, so please don’t delay in getting yours!
