P.O. Coffee Club Christmas Raffle – Friday, 9th December

One of the earlier Christmas events: The Post Office Coffee Club will be holding their Christmas Raffle at 12 noon on Friday, 9th December.

The prizes on offer will be a varied selection of Christmas consumables for just a £1 ticket! Tickets are on sale today and only available on Tuesday and Friday mornings during Post Office hours, 10am – 12.30pm.

The Post Office Outreach service will be there as usual at 10am. During this time, Mulled Wine will be offered alongside the usual tea and coffee together with some Festive Nibbles 🙂

Eco Info & Crafts – Saturday, 1st October, 2-4pm.

As part of Dorset Greener Homes Week (1st-8th October), the Comrades Hall is opening its doors for all to enjoy an eco, nature, craft and activity afternoon on Saturday, 1st October from 2-4pm
All, including kids (of all ages) are welcome to have a go. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Donations are very welcome for taking part in the craft activities (suggested donation is £2.50 per child & £1.50 per additional child).

There will be drop-in info and displays about local community ‘green’ initiatives, while you have a coffee and a chat.

From 1st – 8th October: three Broadwindsor residents are opening their homes to visitors to show green and sustainable changes they have put in place – Click HERE to find out more and book a viewing.

They are looking for volunteers to help on Oct 1st –

are you artsy-crafty and would like to supervise an activity station?
Do you have a local green/nature/wildlife project you would like to represent at the hall on the day?
Are you a local business with a sustainable product and would like to showcase your ideas?

Arts & Crafts – Book Your Table Now

The team for Broadwindsor’s Fun Day are actively working behind the scenes to bring you a day of safe fun and celebration on 14th August.

Part of the day, 2pm – 6pm will involve stalls at the Comrades Hall with Arts and Crafts. Molly James is in charge of coordinating this. Costs are £5 for a small table and £10 for a large table. Spaces will be limited.
