Due to the outbreak of Covid that has hit Broadwindsor, and surrounding villages, Andrew Hookings has decided to close The Comrades Arms this Friday (22nd) evening and to keep it closed until he opens again on Saturday 30th October at 6pm.

The Post Office Outreach service will continue to be in the downstairs Hall next Tuesday & Friday as usual. They will still ask people to wear face masks, keep doors open for ventilation and always ask everyone to maintain social distancing.

On Sunday 7^th November from 12 noon a KNOCKOUT POOL COMPETITION will take place upstairs in the Lewesdon room at the Comrades Hall… in the Comrades Arms.

Entry is £5 with all profits going to the SavetheWhiteLion fund.

Closing dates for entries 10.00pm Friday 31^st October

Matches to start from 12.15pm on Sunday 7^th Nov.

Rules –

• Matches best of three frames.
• Foul on black loses the game.
• Must nominate pocket on black.

First round matches will be posted on the evening of Saturday 6^th Nov., in the bar. Names will be drawn from a hat to decide the matches.

Organised by Andrew Hookings, a prize and trophy will be awarded to winner 🙂
