Some good news for our village received today 🙂
I am more than pleased to announce that after much hard work by the Broadwindsor Fun Group committee, particularly Wendy and Michele, we have secured a  grant from the Community Foundation  Let’s Create Jubilee Fund which was oversubscribed by five times the amount available. This award of ÂŁ5000 will go a long way to our Jubilee plans. We have already earmarked a considerable part of this towards updating Comrades Hall sound system and this was something I was pleased to discuss with David Leader several weeks ago. No doubt he would have been more than pleased to know that our bid was successful.
However, whilst this grant will assist greatly we do still need people to staff stalls and help with a shift working at the bar & BBQ. Please make contact if you can assist.Â
