Trip To Longleat – Wednesday, 29th November

The Over 60’s Club are organising a fantastic day out to Longleat Safari Park and Festival of Light for just £52 per person 🙂 All are welcome!

Your ticket price includes:

Return travel by coach
A Safari drive on the bus
A Boat Safari
The Enchanted Xmas Tree Show
The Festival of Light

N.B.: Entrance to the house is extra.

There are 4 options for your Pick Up point:

9.20am – Bridport
9.35am – Beaminster
9.45am – Broadwindsor
9.55am – Mosterton

Arriving at Longleat at approximately 11.30am, you are free to enjoy the attractions – and lunch – at your own pace. The lights come on at approximately 4-4.30pm.
Leaving Longleat at 6pm, you’ll be home by 7.30-8.15pm, depending on your drop off.

Pay the full amount of £52 by cash or cheque, made out to Broadwindsor & District Over 60’s Club.
A £20 deposit will secure your seat. The balance of £32 to be paid no later than 15th October.

Coach Trip To RHS Wisley – Thursday, 18th May – Book Now

Wisley has a large number of features, including the following: RHS Hilltop – The home of Gardening Science. Wildlife Garden, Wellbeing Garden & World Food Garden. Glasshouse with desert, tropical and temperate climates, and with special topical displays.

Broadwindsor & District’s Horticultural Society have arranged an outing by coach with free entry to Wisley gardens on Thursday, 18th May – all for just £20!

The coach departs from The Comrades Hall promptly at 9am.
Departing Wisley at approximately 4pm, it is estimated to be back in the village at 6-6.30pm… just in time for the White Lion opening 🙂

Change Of Date For Sidmouth Trip

Due to popular demand, the date of the Sidmouth trip for their Folk Festival has been put one day forward to Sunday, 31st July.

All as before:

9.30am: Depart from the White Lion, Broadwindsor.
9.35am: Brief stop to pick up Drimpton residents.
10.00pm: Depart Sidmouth to return back.

Cost is £12.00 per person, payable at time of booking. All are welcome but there are only 35 seats available – so don’t miss out!
