The White Lion – Open At 6pm, Friday 21st May

Vikki and Spike at the White Lion will be welcoming customers into the pub for a drink next Friday evening 🙂 The kitchen remains closed.

Opening Times:

  • Fridays: 6pm -10.30pm
  • Saturdays: 6pm -10.30pm
  • Sundays: 12 noon – 5.00pm

Covid restrictions still apply:

  • you must wear your mask, unless seated.
  • you must sign in with Track and Trace.
  • you must be seated.

The Knapp Inn – Open At 12 Noon, Monday 17th May

Opening their doors at 12 noon on Monday, 17th May, Lel can’t wait until Monday to welcome customers back to The Knapp in Beaminster.

Landlady, Lesley Waring posted on social media: “It’s been far too long and a tough time for everyone. We have done a few improvements that we hope you all like. Cellar is fully stocked and we are ready to go (I don’t think I’ve forgotten anything but time will tell 😂)

Some restrictions do remain:
  • There will be no entry without a face mask (until your seated).
  • Everyone must sign the book or use the NHS app to register.
  • Table service is still in place.
  • The Rule of 6 still applies.

It is hoped that these restrictions will only be for a month and we can get back to normal drinking.”

Happy Hour!

They are bringing back their Happy Hour (which is infact 2 hours) from 5pm – 7pm,
Monday to Friday.

  • £3.00 a pint
  • San Miguel and Guinness £3.50 a pint
  • Medium wine, £3.00
  • Large wine, £4.00

 

Lel added, “Please stick to the rules coz none of us want to go through this again. On the final countdown and feeling fab. See you on Monday xxxx 😘 🍺“

Businesses Reopening At Redlands Yard

Businesses at Redlands Yard have been excitedly posting on social media their reopening plans for next week.  Opening days vary – please welcome them back by showing them your support and shopping local.

Foxy Cottage at Redlands YardFrom Sara at The Foxy Cottage:

Opening on Wednesday, 14th April, The Foxy Cottage will be open Wednesday to Saturday 11am – 3pm throughout the month of April. Once the restaurant opens again on May 17th it will be back to Tuesday – Sunday 10.30am – 4pm. We have lots of new stock and can’t wait to open!

Opening on Monday, 12th April – I can’t tell you how excited we are to see you all pamper you all and make each and everyone of you smile, can I please remind you all that you MUST have a skin test before your colour app and it must be done at least 48hrs before your appointment these rules are insurance policy and therefore if you don’t have a skin test we can’t carry out your service. As far as we know rules are the same as before masks , hand sanitizing and space – we ask that you wait at the door when you arrive, make yourself known if we don’t see you and we will welcome you in as soon as we can 😁

After a few rather challenging first months of 2021, The Stableyard Restaurant has taken the decision to open the outside eating and takeaways a little later than the 12th of April.
Due to the ever changing English weather, and the financial implications of a few rainy days in April may bring for dining outside we are going to open outside and takeaways on Wednesday 5th May, 11am – 3pm. We will be open for hot and cold drinks, yummy cakes and slices, sandwiches and toasties.
Then the restaurant will fully open on Tuesday 18th May 9.30am (as long as the Government allows)
I know that you are all looking forward to getting back out and myself and staff are looking forward to welcoming you back to the Stableyard Restaurant.

It’s been a hard year to navigate and the past few months have been super tough, however brighter times are coming, and I’m so pleased to say I can now resume my holistic treatments which is fabulous news. From 19th April, the shop will be open 10am – 3pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. From Monday, 10th May, Holistic treatments will resume.  So looking forward to welcoming you back to Sophia’s Choice Therapy Space and soothing all that stress, anxiety and those frayed nerves away. 💗
